SciSis believe you cannot be what you cannot see. We also believe we can learn from other women who have gone before us and are willing to share their insights with us.

In this spirit, SciSis Meet is a series of meet-up sessions at IAS where we invite leading women working in academia across disciplines and roles to share their unique perspectives and professional experiences in an intimate and personal setting with our members and others who are interested. 

Next to our in-person conversations with these women, we also plan to capture some of their reflections and insights in written form to serve as resource and inspirations to others. We will do this through a collection of invited short reflections called by leading women in academia titled Dear Sister.
